It’s BizRate’s fault.
work4sure was the original working title of the service we now call ComponentMatching: Consumer IT sales was seen as one of the most obvious use cases for the technology. As the plans for the company evolved, we gradually spawned a number of services and branded each one, but the company name also kind of ‘stuck’ by default. For a number of years we quietly debated whether it really was the best brand for the company, until one day in February 2008, a consumer filed the following comments on BizRate:
“work4sure...well, works for sure. Have used the app several times and it seems to be correct each time”Source: BizRate consumer
So, we’ve kept the name, and it’s now part of our story as a business.
Actually, we’ve done this before…
We could tell you about our love of morris-dancing or warm beer (we’re English), but it’s not really relevant, is it? What you do need to know is that the team behind work4sure collectively has over five decades in this field: We know how to examine devices programmatically in an efficient and secure way without causing the device to crash, even when directly querying the hardware. We have the experience and judgement to know when to source programmatically, and when to use knowledgebases. We also have significant experience of high-tech, high-growth start-ups: We know how to build a commercial service for our clients that will continue to meet their evolving needs.
We’re privately owned.
It’s just us, and our clients…
work4sure is a privately owned, privately managed business; no parent company, no venture capitalists, no external shareholders to answer to. It’s just us and our clients, and we like it that way. And when you’re talking to us, you are talking to the people who run the company, so if we need to change something for our clients, we can. You can’t get stuck navigating the organisation maze because we don’t have one.
